The larger of the two floor-standers in the Series and a full 3-way design, the 703’s full 3-way configuration allows the use of a dedicated Fixed Suspension Transducer (FST driver) for the finest in midrange delivery. The combination of its woven Kevlar® cone and mechanically matched outer suspension enables this driver to portray the finest nuances in the signal Twin bass drivers, their stiff paper/Kevlar® cones further strengthened by our unique girder-like mushroom construction, work in parallel in a Flowport tuned cavity to handle all the bass frequencies. The tube-loaded tweeter is freely mounted on top of the cabinet to give a sense of airiness and reduce the listeners’ awareness of the speakers.
